FACE

We start by chaining 4 CH. Then we crochet on both sides of the chain to make an oval, just like for amigurumi.

Row 1: INC in the second CH from the hook, 1 SC, 3 INC in the last CH, 1 SC on the other side of the chain, 1 SC in the last CH. (8)

(We have made a round from the chain of CH, and continue working in the round)

Row 2: 2 INC, 1 SC, 3 INC, 1 SC, INC. (14)

Row 3: (1 SC, INC) x 2, 1 SC, (1 SC, INC) x 3, 2 SC, INC. (20)

Rows 4-5: 20 SC. (20)

Row 6: (8 SC, DEC) x 2. (18)

Finish off with several SL ST, cut the yarn leaving a long tail for sewing. Insert a plastic nose (or embroider), stuff the piece before sewing shut.

TAIL

Chain 7, then 7 SC on the opposite side of the chain.

SCARF

Chain the desired length (around 70 CH) and work several rows of SC in the back loop only.

Sew the pieces together in any order that you prefer. The author suggests: head + body + arms + face + ears + tail. Your Barbosik is now complete!
