Alize Cotton Gold (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 100g / 330m)

Color change using two strands:
When changing colors, work with both yarns at once.
Pull the old color through the last stitch of the previous round — there will be two loops on the hook.
Then yarn over with the new color and pull through both loops.
Work the next round in BLO.

Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Sew the muzzle below the eyes.
Attach the ears 8 rounds up from the MR, pointing upward.
Face sculpting & embroidery:
Mark points for eye indentation with pins (inner corners).
Insert a long needle with brown yarn from the bottom of the head, exit at point 1, reinsert at point 2, and exit again at the bottom. Pull slightly so the eyes sink in a bit.
Repeat once more, tie knots, and hide the ends inside the head.
1.With white thread, embroider the eye whites.
2.With black thread, embroider eyelashes and eyebrows.
3.With beige yarn, embroider the nostrils and shade them with brown pastel.

Stuff only halfway.

Fasten off.
Strap:
Join yellow yarn to the BLO of Round 22 on the back.
Crochet 24 sc, then ch 25, starting from 2nd ch from hook – 24 sc, then 18 sc back along the body.
Fasten off and secure.
Pull the strap over the opposite shoulder and sew it to the back of the pants.
Assembly:
1. Sew the head to the body.
2. Sew the ears and muzzle in place if not done earlier.
Mane and Tail:
With beige yarn:
Wrap the yarn several times around two fingers and cut at the bottom to get even strands.
Mark the line for the mane with pins — from forehead to neck, centered.
Insert the hook between stitches, pull the folded strand through to make a loop, then pull both free ends through the loop and tighten.
Repeat along the entire line in two rows.
Make the tail the same way, but with longer strands.
Brush the strands with a needle to separate into fine fibers.
