Crochet Toy Pattern
Finished size – 12.6”(32 cm) tall, 7.5”(19 cm) when seated
Materials and tools:
• 100% acryl yarn 210m/100g – orange (about 40 g), white and black (small
amount)
• 2.5 or 3 mm crochet hook
• stuffing
• 10 mm black safety eyes
• glue
• tapestry needle
• awl tool

• inc – increase (single crochet twice in the same single crochet stitch)
• dec = decrease (single crochet 2 stitches together )

NOTE! The pattern is worked single crochet in continuous spiral unless otherwise stated.
Work in both loops of the stitch. Stuff the pieces as you go unless otherwise instructed.

Arms (make two)
It is not necessary to stuff the arms. You can insert wire instead.

Finishing
• Sew head to body.
• Sew legs to the bottom of the body.
• Sew the tail.
• Make a forlock fastening strands like a fringe. Cut three strands of yarn taking into
account that you will need the double length. Then fold each thread in half and put
the loopy end through a stitch. Then put the end pieces through the loop and pull.
• Embroider eyebrows, mouth and toe claws using a black thread.
• Put on any clothes you like.

Appendix
* Magic ring is a way to begin crocheting in the round by crocheting over an
adjustable loop and then pulling the loop tight. The advantage of the magic ring
method is that there is no hole left in the middle of your starting round.
Wrap the yarn around your finger. Going through the loop wrapped around your fingers
do a single crochet, repeat until you have completed as many single crochets as you
need.
Now pull the short end, until you close the circle up tight. The first round is ready.
