Nose, Head, Body and Legs (One Piece)
The elephant is crocheted starting from the legs.
Leg
1: 6 SC in MR
2: (1 SC, INC) ×3 (9)
3–5: 9 SC
6: 6 SC, INC, 4 SC (11)
7: 5 SC, INC, 4 SC (11)
8: INC, 5 SC, INC, 4 SC (13)
First leg is finished.
Make a second identical leg.
Join Legs
After finishing the second leg:
CH 5
Join the legs together and continue crocheting in a circle.
Total stitches: 36 SC
Body

Make 6 increases total across the round.
Next rounds increase 6 stitches per round.
11–14: Continue increasing to 66 SC
15–27: 66 SC (13 rounds)
Shape the Body
28: start decreasing on the sides until 38 SC remain
Continue decreasing gradually while stuffing.
When 14 stitches remain, crochet 4 rounds straight.

Assembly
Mark front and back of the body.
One side will have slightly more increases.
Shape the elephant so the front becomes the trunk area.
Sew:
- ears to the sides of the head
- arms slightly below ears
- tail at the back bottom
Eyes
Cut two circles from white felt (about 2 cm diameter).
Sew around the edge and slightly tighten.
Attach the felt circles to the face.
Sew black beads on top as pupils.
Embroider a small smile using black thread.

If the elephant does not stand well:
Move the tail slightly lower and adjust stuffing so the body balances.
