TIPS FROM THE AUTHOR:
Velor is a delicate, soft thread, very pleasant to knit and in a finished product.
For toys, just a godsend. It is easy to knit with velor, the loops are clearly visible.
1) Start knitting with two air loops, tying the required number of columns into the first loop, since when tightening the amigurumi ring, the thread may break, or the villi will not allow the ring to tighten tightly.
2) When decreasing the loops, in order to avoid the formation of holes, we grab the thread by the front walls of the loops.
3) Velor does not tolerate blooming. The villi cling to the posts and do not lend themselves to blooming. Some velors bloom quite easily, but the villi look deformed and ugly. Be sure to use the start of the row marker.
4) It is not necessary to make velor straps and sew on details.
Use a strong thread to match the yarn for this.
5) Thread the velor thread with a blunt needle. Take your time and don’t pull too hard, velor loves a gentle touch.
The toy is knitted in a spiral, without connecting posts and lifting loops.
