Assemble the Pig:
Assemble the pig, decorate it as you like, and delight yourself and your loved ones.
New Year’s Hat:
The hat is crocheted in a spiral with half-double crochet stitches. Each round starts with a chain of two and ends with a slip stitch.
To determine the number of starting chains, try it on your toy’s head. Close the circle and crochet in a spiral.
The first four rows are worked with half-double crochet stitches. Then, in each round, start making decreases as follows:
Make the first decrease at the beginning of the round after changing the color (this will be the back of the hat).
Continue crocheting halfway around and make the second decrease at the front.
In the next round, make decreases on both sides of the hat.
Alternate between these two rounds, continuing to make decreases at the front and back, until you reach the end of the hat.
Decorate it to your liking with a tassel, pom-pom, or bells.
