I initially decided to make removable boots for the doll, so I started crocheting with burgundy yarn for the socks. If you don’t want removable boots, you can make them integrated (attached), in which case, crochet the socks in a color other than burgundy, like yellow. If you’re making removable boots, start with the burgundy color like I did.

Next, crochet using turning rows. 

7th row: 5 sc, 1 ch as a turning chain, turn.

Crocheting the Strands:

2nd strand: From here, make 21 ch, starting from the second chain stitch from the hook, crochet 20 sc, make a sl st to attach the strand. 

Similarly, crochet the remaining strands, each with a length of 21 sc. Leave a long tail for sewing. 

Ears: 

Embroidering the Face: 

Make 5 sc in magic ring (MR), pull tight but do not fasten off. Leave a tail for sewing. 

For the eyes, use white yarn to embroider the sclera. Embroider the nose, eyebrows, and mouth. Sew the ears on both sides of the head between rows 13 and 15, with a distance of 7-8 sc from the eyes. Attach the hair. The longest hair strand should be at the front, and you’ll later sew it to the side. Leave 5 strands at the front. Attach the first two strands on the sides behind the ears. 

Sew the head to the body and start crocheting the clothing.

7th row: 14 sc. 

8th row: 6 sc, 4 chain stitches, skip 2 sc, crochet 5 sc in the 3rd sc and continue with 5 more sc. This creates a buttonhole. 

To make the strap, attach the yarn to one side of the bag, crochet the desired number of chain stitches for the strap, and attach the other end to the opposite side of the bag.
