Stuff the head firmly. Leave a tail for sewing.

Ears (Make 2) – Doll Monica:

Use light beige yarn.

1: 6 sc in MR, do not join. Turn.

2: 1 ch, turn, 6 sc.

Cut the yarn, leave a long tail for sewing.

3-25: 10 sc (23 rows)

Stuff the arm as you crochet: tightly at the bottom, medium in the middle, top (about 1-2 cm) can be left unstuffed. Fold the arm in half and crochet 5 sc through both loops. Cut the yarn, hide the end. Make the second arm in the same way.

Legs (Make 2) + Body – Doll Monica:

Use lemon yarn for the legs.

1: 6 sc in MR

12: (4 sc, dec)*3 (15)

13-34: 15 sc (22 rows)

Stuff the legs as you crochet:

tightly at the bottom, medium in the middle, top (about 1 cm) can be left unstuffed.

Fold the edges of the piece together, crochet or undo the necessary number of stitches (I needed to crochet an additional 4 sc on one leg, 4 sc on the other leg) and crochet 7 sc through both loops. Cut the yarn, hide the end. Similarly, make the second leg, but do not cut the yarn at the end, but begin to connect the legs together.

35: From the second leg, crochet a chain of 4 ch and attach to the first leg with a sl st. Make sure the legs are straight. Crochet 14 sc in back loops only around the first leg, 4 sc in the chain of ch, 14 sc in back loops only around the second leg, 4 sc in the chain of ch (36)

At this point, it is necessary to place a marker (the marker is in front, exactly in the middle).

36: (5 sc, inc)*6 (42)

37-42: 42 sc (6 rows)

At this stage, move the marker by crocheting 16 more sc (or the necessary number) to be exactly in the middle of the back. Now this will be the beginning of the row.

Switch to mint yarn.

43: 42 sc

44: 42 sc in back loops only

45: (5 sc, dec)*6 (36)

50-52: 30 sc (3 rows)

53: (3 sc, dec)*6 (24)

54: 24 sc in back loops only

Switch to light beige yarn.

55: 24 sc

In the next row, insert the arms. Make sure they are symmetrically positioned on both sides of the body.

56: 2 sc, 5 sc (insert arm), 7 sc, 5 sc (insert arm), 5 sc (24)

57: (2 sc, dec)*6 (18)

58-59: 18 sc (2 rows)

Slip stitch (ss) in the next row’s stitch.

In this way, you should have 18 curls.

Hairband:

Crochet with light-lilac yarn.

Chain 22, single crochet (sc) in the second chain from the hook, crochet 21 sc.

Cut the yarn, leaving a long end for sewing.

Assembly and decoration:

To start, decorate the doll’s head.

1: Sew the ears between rows 17 and 21, with a 5-row gap between them, securing with pins beforehand.

2: The ears should be symmetrically positioned. Sew the earrings just below the middle of the ear. Next, sew on the wig, securing it with pins beforehand.

3: Embroider the nose with light-beige yarn.

4: Embroider the whites of the eyes with white thread.

5: Embroider eyelashes with black thread. Use blush or dry pastels to blush the cheeks and nose.

6: Embroider the mouth with pink yarn.

7: Sew together the head and torso, securing them in a circle with pins beforehand.

8: When only a small hole remains, fill the gap between the neck and head with polyester fiberfill.

9: Fill tightly to prevent the head from wobbling.

10: Sew closed completely. Hide the end of the thread inside the piece.

11: Sew on the hairband to the ponytail of the wig.
