Row 26 – (3SC, DEC) repeat 6 times (24).

Stuff the head with stuffing.

Row 27 – (2SC, DEC) repeat 6 times (18).

Return to the point where we crocheted 60 SC in the front loops only with ALIZE softy and left the yarn.

Row 1 – 60 SC.

Row 2 – (2Sl st, 3SC, 2HDC, 1DC, 2HDC, 3SC, 2Sl st) 4 times.

Continue with Sl st. Leave yarn for attaching the headband.

Attach the corners of the headband… and insert the eyes, making sure everything is symmetrical. But do not attach them.

Next, crochet the muzzle.

Row 1 – 9CH +1 CH.

Rows 7-10 – 44 SC.

Sl st and leave yarn for sewing.

Now comes the most responsible moment, assembling the muzzle. Prior to this, we filled the head to the desired density, attached the corners of the headband, and inserted the eyes, but did not attach them from the back. Now fill the muzzle with stuffing and fit it to the head, the top part of the muzzle should cover the remaining hole of the head. Attach the muzzle with pins, making sure the eyes are symmetrical. Detach the muzzle, take out some stuffing from the head, attach the eyes securely. Fill the head again.

Row 28 – (1SC, DEC) repeat 6 times (12).

Row 29 – DEC. Pull the remaining loops together and hide the yarn.

Assembly of the head.

Attach the muzzle with stuffing, making sure everything is symmetrical, begin sewing. You can add stuffing as you sew the muzzle. Attach the headband. Now embroider the nostrils. Give the monkey a smile and eyebrows. If necessary, sew the eye details. Attach the ears.

Attach the part of the ear where we made Sl st to the head.

The most complex part of the toy is ready!

LEGS (2 parts).

I wanted to make a long-legged monkey. So, if desired, you can make the legs shorter.

The lower part of the leg – foot.

Crochet with ALIZE baby best yarn.

Row 1 – 6 SC in MC.

Row 2 – 6 INC (12).

Row 3 – (1SC, INC) repeat 6 times (18).

Rows 6-7 – 30 SC.

Row 8 – (DEC, 13 SC) 2 times (28).

Rows 11-16 – 24 SC (6 rows).

Row 17 – (2SC, DEC) repeat 6 times (18).

Row 18 – 18 SC.

Fill the foot with stuffing, not too tightly.

Row 19 – (1SC, DEC) repeat 6 times (12).

Row 20 – 12 SC.

Row 21 – DEC, pull together the remaining loops, hide the yarn.

Upper part of the leg:

Take ALIZE softy plus yarn, crochet 20 CH and join them into a circle with a Sl st.

Rows 1-3: 20 SC.

Row 4: (8 SC, DEC) 2 times (18).

Rows 5-7: 18 SC.

Row 8: (7 SC, DEC) 2 times (16).

At this stage, sew the upper part of the leg to the lower part. It’s easier to sew if you fill the upper part of the leg with stuffing. I wanted to make a long-legged monkey, but optionally, you can make the legs shorter. Fill the leg with stuffing as you crochet, approximately one-third full, not tightly packed.

Rows 9-21: 16 SC – 13 rows.

Row 22: (6 SC, DEC) 2 times (14).

Row 23: 14 SC.

Row 24: (5 SC, DEC) 2 times (12).

Row 25: 12 SC.

The leg should be filled with stuffing approximately one-third full. Fold the leg in half. Ensure everything is symmetrical. If necessary, you can crochet or unravel a few stitches. Then crochet the two sides of the leg together, Sl st, and cut the yarn.

Arms (2 parts):

The lower part of the arm – palm.

Take ALIZE baby best yarn.

Row 1: 5 CH + 1 CH.

Rows 5-7: 24 SC.

Row 8: 1 SC, DEC, 3 SC, (1 SC, DEC) 3 times, 3 SC, (1 SC, DEC) 2 times (18).

Fill the palm with stuffing. Change yarn to ALIZE softy plus.

Row 9: (7 SC, DEC) 2 times (16).

Rows 10-12: 16 SC.

Row 13: (6 SC, DEC) 2 times (14).

Row 14: 14 SC.

Row 15: (5 SC, DEC) 2 times (12).

Continue filling the arm with stuffing. I wanted to make a long-armed monkey; however, optionally, you can crochet fewer rows to make shorter arms.

Rows 16-30: 12 SC – 15 rows.

Row 31: (4 SC, DEC) 2 times (10).

Row 32: 10 SC.

Row 33: (3 SC, DEC) 2 times (8).

Row 34: 8 SC.

The arms should be filled with stuffing approximately one-third full. Fold the arm in half. Ensure it is symmetrical to the palm and not twisted. If necessary, crochet or unravel a few stitches. Then crochet the two sides of the arm together, Sl st, and cut the yarn.

Row 8: (5 SC, INC) 6 times (42).

Row 9: (6 SC, INC) 6 times (48).

Rows 10-15: 48 SC – 6 rows.

Row 16: (6 SC, DEC) 6 times (42).

Rows 17-18: 42 SC.

Row 19: (5 SC, DEC) 6 times (36).

Rows 20-21: 36 SC.

Row 22: (4 SC, DEC) 6 times (30).

Row 23: 30 SC.

Begin filling the torso with stuffing.

Row 24: Attach the arms, 30 SC.

Row 25: (3 SC, DEC) 6 times (24).

Row 26: 24 SC.

Row 27: (2 SC, DEC) 6 times (18).

Sl st, leave yarn for sewing the head.

Fill the remaining part of the torso, firm up the neck area so that it doesn’t wobble after sewing the head. Attach the head to the torso, ensuring the seam doesn’t interfere with the muzzle and headband but passes just below them.

Tail:

Crochet with ALIZE softy plus yarn.

Row 1: 6 SC in MC.

Row 2: 6 INC (12).

Rows 3-10: 12 SC – 8 rows. You can fill the tip of the tail slightly with stuffing.
