Materials Needed: 

Yarn: Himalaya Dollpfin Baby – black (311), gray (320), flesh-colored (333), and a little yellow (313). 

Foamiran for eyes and emblem (white, yellow, and black). 

Crochet hook No. 4. 

Blunt-end needle for sewing details. 

Stuffing. 

Hot glue. 

Scissors. 

Abbreviations: 

MC – magic circle 

sc – single crochet 

inc – increase (work 2 sc in one stitch) 

dec – decrease (work 2 sc together) 

sl st – slip stitch 

ch – chain 

blo – back loop only 

flo – front loop only

PATTERN

Arms: 

Begin crocheting with black yarn: 

Round 1: Ch 2, 6 sc in second ch from hook (6). 

Round 2: 6 inc (12). 

Rounds 3-6: 12 sc, change color to gray. 

Round 7: (4 sc, dec)*2 (10). 

Rounds 8-16: 10 sc (9 rounds), sl st and fasten off. Stuff fiberfill two-thirds of the way into the arms. 

Legs: 

Begin crocheting with black yarn: 

Round 1: Ch 6, join with a slip stitch to first chain to form a ring, 1 inc, 3 sc, 3 sc in the last chain, 4 sc on the opposite side (12). 

Round 2: 2 inc, 3 sc, 3 inc, 3 sc, inc (18). 

Round 3: (1 sc, inc)*2, 3 sc, (1 sc, inc)*3, 4 sc, inc (24). 

Rounds 4-5: 24 sc + 3 sc at the end of round 5 for shaping. 

Round 6: 7 sc, (1 sc, dec)*3, 8 sc (21). 

Round 7: 7 sc, 3 dec, 8 sc (18). 

Round 8: (1 sc, dec)*6 (12). 

Round 9: 12 sc, change color to gray. 

Round 10: 12 sc in the blo (12). 

Rounds 11-16: 12 sc, then change yarn to black. 

Round 17: 12 sc. Cut yarn for the first leg, leave it for the second. 

Body: 

From the second leg, ch 4 and join to the first leg, ensuring the legs face the same direction, and crochet: 

Round 1: 12 sc around the first leg, 4 sc across the chain, 12 sc around the second leg, 4 sc across the chain (32). Stuff the legs firmly with stuffing as you crochet the body. 

Rounds 2-3: 32 sc, change color to yellow. 

Round 4: (7 sc, inc)*4 (36). 

Round 5: (5 sc, inc)*6 (42). 

Round 6: 42 sc, change color to gray. 

Round 7: 42 sc (42). 

Round 8: (5 sc, dec)*6 (36). 

Rounds 9-10: 36 sc (36).

Cut yarn, leaving a tail for sewing. Sew the ears between the 9th and 12th rounds of the head to ensure they stay in place. 

Cape: 

Crochet in black yarn with turning rows. Leave a long tail for sewing at the beginning of the chain. 

Row 1: Ch 11, turn. 

Row 2: 10 sc (10). 

Row 3: 10 sl st (10). 

Row 4: Inc (make from sl st), 8 sl st, inc (12). 

Row 5: 12 sl st (12). 

Row 6: Inc, 10 sl st, inc (14). 

Row 7: 14 sl st (14). 

Row 8: Inc, 12 sl st, inc (16). 

Row 9: 16 sl st (16). 

Row 10: Inc, 14 sl st, inc (18).

Cut and weave in the yarn end. Sew the cape using the yarn tail left at the beginning between the head and body. 

Embroider the nose with black plush yarn in a triangle shape as shown in the photo. 

Crochet around the legs in the 10th round through the flo – 12 sc, and weave in the end. 

Cut eyes from foamiran in white, and the emblem from yellow and black (you can find examples online, draw on paper, cut, and then cut foamiran accordingly). Glue them with hot glue. 

And there you have it, our Batman is ready!
