Torso

We collect a chain of 5 air loops on the left leg and connect with the right leg.

Next, we knit 10 sc on the right leg.

Note: we reach the marker on the right leg and now the first row will begin here.

37 row: (1 sc, dec) * 6 (12)

38-41 row (4 rows): no change (12)

Stop at this point. Sew the arms to the body (see “tip” and photo above) and knit the dress. After you put the dress on the doll, we continue to knit the head.

Tip: it is better to sew on the hands when you knit the dress at least up to the 9th row. Try on the dress on the doll and mark the exact place where to sew the arms. When the dress sits neatly.

The dress

We knit with turquoise yarn. We collect a chain of 22 ch and close it in a ring.

Note:

1) in the first row, the “increase” is {(1dc, 1 t, 1dc) in one loop]

2) starting from the second row “increase” is 2 dc in the loop of the previous row

3) when counting the loops “2 ch”, we also count at the table.

4) from the 2nd to the 6th row, I highlighted the repeating “pattern” in red for convenience

Row 1: 2 dc, 2 dc, inc, 3 dc, inc, 6 dc, inc, 3 dc, inc, 3 dc, sl-st (26)

7 row: 2 dc, 8 dc, skip 15 dc with chain stitches (sleeve), 19 dc, skip 15 dc with chain stitches (sleeve), 9 dc, sl-st (37)

8 row: 2 dc, 8 dc, inc, 18 dc, inc, 8 dc, sl-st (39)

9 row: 2 dc, 9 dc, inc, 19 dc, inc, 8 dc, sl-st (41)

13 row: 2 dc, 81 dc, sl-st (82)

14 row: 2 dc, (inc, 1 dc) * 40, inc, sl-st (123)

15-27 row (13 rows): 2 dc, 122 dc, sl-st (123)

Next, we make a frill with white yarn along the bottom of the dress with the following pattern: (1 sc, 3 dc in one loop, 1 sc) * 41

Cut the threads and hide.

Sleeves

1-9 row (9 rows): 20 dc (20)

The last 10th row is best done directly on the doll.

10 row: (8 dc, dec) * 2 (18)

Cut the threads and hide.

We embroider patterns on the dress with white yarn in 4 threads using the “back needle” method.

We start with Figure NNo 1 (see diagram on the next page) in the middle of the dress, embroidering each curl separately.

Moving to the right from Figure NNo 1, we embroider all the patterns according to the principle of Figure NNo 2 to the middle of the dress on the back.

Moving to the left from Figure NNo 1, we embroider all the patterns according to the principle of Figure NNo 3 to the middle of the dress on the back.

If there is an empty space on the back of the dress, you can embroider an additional curl.

We embroider SNOWFLAKES.

We also sew the belt with white yarn.

The dress is almost ready! It looks like this from the front.

This is what the dress looks like from the back.

Sew on beads. I sewed beads with a diameter of 4 and 5 mm.

We take a piece of tulle, make an assembly and sew it to the dress.

Now the dress is complete! We put it on the doll and continue to knit the head.

42 row: inc * 12 (24)

43 row: (3 sc, inc) * 6 (30)

44 row: (4 sc, inc) * 6 (36)

The wire should reach approximately the middle of the head.

Cut off the excess wire, bend the ends. Secure the ends of the wire with adhesive tape.

45 row: (5 sc, inc) * 6 (42)

46 row: (6 sc, inc) * 6 (48)

47 row: (7 sc, inc) * 6 (54)

48 row: (8 sc, inc) * 6 (60)

49 row: (9 sc, inc) * 6 (66)

50-55 row (6 rows): no change (66)

56 row: in this row we will have eyes. If you sew on beads, then we knit this row without changes.

If you insert safe eyes, then we knit like this:

6 sc, 1 ch, skip 1 st, 5 sc, 1 ch, skip 1 st, 53 sc (66)

57-60 row (4 rows): unchanged (66)

61 row: (9 sc, dec) * 6 (60)

62 row: (8 sc, dec) * 6 (54)

63 row: (7 sc, dec) * 6 (48)

We insert safe eyes, but do not tighten it too much, since you need to embroider eyelashes and eyebrows. I embroidered with black yarn in 2 strands.

64 row: (6 sc, dec) * 6 (42)

65 row: (5 sc, dec) * 6 (36)

66 row: (4 sc, dec) * 6 (30)

67 row: (3 sc, dec) * 6 (24)

68 row: (2 sc, dec) * 6 (18)

69 row: (1 sc, dec) * 6 (12)

70 row: dec * 6 (6)

Cut the thread, pull the hole and hide the thread.

Slippers

In total, you need to knit 4 parts (for each slipper, 2 parts).

They need to be connected to each other in order to insert leatherboard (or other thick cardboard) between them for the stability of the toy.

Note: tied the first part – cut the thread. Then we knit the second part, but we do not cut the thread, but connect it with the first part with connecting posts. When the parts are connected, cut off the thread, but it is better to hide it at the end of knitting a slipper. We begin to knit the sole with gray yarn.

1 row: We collect a chain of 7 ch. Next 2 sc in the sixth loop of the chain, 4 sc, 3 sc in the first loop. Now knit on the reverse side of the chain: 4 sc, 1 sc in the sixth loop, sl-st, ch (14)

2nd row: inc*2, 4 sc, inc*3, 4 sc, inc, sl-st, ch (20)

Rnd 3: (inc, 1 sc)*2, 4 sc, (inc, 1 sc)*3, 4 sc, inc, 1 sc, sl-st, ch (26)

4th row: (inc, 2 sc)*2, 4 sc, (inc, 2 sc)*3, 4 sc, inc, 2 sc, sl-st, ch (32)

5th row: (inc, 3 sc)*2, 4 sc, (inc, 3 sc)*3, 4 sc, inc, 3 sc, sl-st, ch (38)

6 row: (inc, 4 sc)*2, 4 sc, (inc, 4 sc)*3, 4 sc, inc, 4 sc, sl-st, ch (44)

7 row: (inc, 5 sc)*2, 4 sc, (inc, 5 sc)*3, 4 sc, inc, 5 sc, sl-st (50)

Cut out the insole according to the shape of the sole from leather cardboard (or other thick cardboard). We knit such 2 parts, as I wrote earlier, and connect them to each other with connecting posts. Should be 50 sl-st. We count 7 loops from the marker as shown in the photo.

In this loop, the 1st row will begin, which we will knit with a white thread.

Row 1: Attach the white thread to the front walls of these connecting posts and knit 50 sc (50)

2-8 row (7 rows): no change (50)

9 row: 16 sc, (1 sc, dec) * 8, 10 sc (42)

10 row: no change (42)

Next, knit in turquoise.

11 row: 20 sc, dec * 4, 14 sc (38)

12 row (semi-row): dec * 2, and make one more decrease with a half-column without a crochet (35)

Cut the thread, hide. At the sole, also hide the thread.

We decorate slippers with beads (I decorated with beads with a diameter of 3 mm).

Tip: to make it easier to put slippers on the leg, you need to attach markers on three sides of the slipper (one on the back and two on the sides in front)

and quietly put on slippers on the knife.

For another slipper, repeat all the steps in the same way.

bezel

We knit with white yarn.

We collect a chain of 8 loops on the knitting needles and knit with an elastic band 1 * 1.

There should be 84 rows in total. Sew the ends of the rim and decorate with beads

(I decorated with beads with a diameter of 4 mm).

We put on the doll’s head.

Gaiters (2 pcs.)

We knit with white yarn. We collect a chain of 17 loops on the knitting needles and knit with the following pattern:

1 row: 1 cr, 3 purl, 3 knit, 3 purl, 3 knit, 3 purl, 1 cr.

2 row: 1 cr, 3 knit, 3 purl, 3 knit, 3 purl, 3 knit, 1 cr.

In total, you need to knit 52 rows. Cut the thread and hide.

Snood

We knit with white yarn. We collect a chain of 20 loops on the knitting needles and knit with the following pattern:

1 row: 1 cr, 3 purl, 3 knit, 3 purl, 3 knit, 3 purl, 3 knit, 1 cr.

2 row: 1 cr, 3 knit, 3 purl, 3 knit, 3 purl, 3 knit, 3 purl, 1 cr.

In total, you need to knit 80 rows. Cut the thread and hide. We decorate the snood with a button and sew it to the chrysalis.

Tress

Cut a piece of about 6-7 cm from the tress and make a bundle out of it (twist and sew). We will then attach it to the crown.

Tip: wefts are easier to sew on with a long needle, I have a 5.5 cm long needle. Sew on wefts with a thread of the color from which they are sewn – then the thread will not be noticeable on the head.

We sew the wefts in a spiral. To accurately calculate whether there is enough tress, you need to secure them with pins all over the head.

At the end, at the crown, there should be a small hole for fixing a bunch of hair into it.

We remove the pins, leaving the first row, and sew with a “back needle” seam. We sew the wefts tightly to each other so that there is no gap. Then we take our bundle and sew it in the center of the crown (or you can glue it). Next, we distribute the hair from the bundle over the entire head, put the cotton fabric on the head and iron the top of the head with an iron for a few seconds. Do not use a very hot iron, otherwise the wefts may deteriorate.

Our doll is ready!
