Chain 6 

1: Starting from the 2nd chain from the hook: sc, sc, hdc, dc, 5 dc in the last chain, dc, hdc, sc, sc 

Note: Leave yarn for sewing. 

From the tail, count 10 chains and make a yarn attachment for the first fin. Then count 5 chains and embroider the first eye using black yarn, counting 3 chains up, on the 4th to 6th chains. From the first eye, count 18 chains and embroider the second eye using black yarn, counting 3 chains up, on the 4th to 6th chains. There should be 18 chains between the eyes. From the second eye, count 5 chains and make a yarn attachment for the second fin. There should be 10 chains left before the tail. For embroidering the mouth and eyebrows, use thin black yarn. 

You can turn the kitten into a keychain by making a loop and attaching a keychain base.
